The IT Service Desk provides secure and environmentally responsible disposal of university-owned electronic devices.

All equipment is processed to ensure data is permanently removed and hardware is disposed of in compliance with university security and sustainability policies.

Who can use this service?

  • Faculty and administrative staff.

  • University departments and units

Who can not use this service?

  • Personal device disposal

  • Non-university owned equipment

  • Unauthorized disposal requests

How do I use this service?

  • Submit a disposal request through the service portal

  • Provide details about the device(s)

  • IT will coordinate collection and secure disposal

🔄 What to expect (process)

  1. Request submission
    You submit a request with device details

  2. Review and scheduling
    IT reviews the request and schedules pickup or drop-off

  3. Data destruction
    All data is securely wiped from storage devices

  4. Disposal / recycling
    Equipment is disposed of following environmental standards

  5. Confirmation and closure
    Request is completed and recorded
