🔄 What to expect
Request submission: Submit a support request with the room or lab location, equipment affected, a description of the issue, and the date/time support is needed if a class, exam, meeting, or event is impacted.
Review and prioritization: IT reviews the request, confirms the scope, and prioritizes issues affecting active teaching, exams, presentations, or scheduled events.
Follow-up: If more information is needed, IT may contact you for details such as error messages, photos, device names, software involved, or availability to access the space.
Troubleshooting and support: IT provides remote or on-site assistance to diagnose classroom, lab, meeting room, audio/visual, workstation, or shared-space technology issues.
Escalation if required: Requests may be escalated to specialized IT teams, Facilities, vendors, or external service providers when repairs, replacements, cabling, infrastructure, or warranty support are needed.
Resolution and closure: IT will update the request with the outcome, confirm when the issue has been resolved or mitigated, and note any follow-up actions if additional work is required.
