We provide support for patching new wall jacks, replace/repairing damaged cabling, and configuring switch ports to support desktops, printers, and other devices that demand a dedicated wired connection. This service ensures maximum network stability and bandwidth for your devices, serving as the reliable backbone for data-intensive tasks where wireless connectivity is insufficient.

🔄 What to expect (process)

While the exact steps may vary, you can generally expect:

  1. Initial request

    1. You initiate a new and activate network connection:

      1. Through the 24/7 Self‑Service Portal

      2. Please indicate Room number and Building.

  2. You will be contacted by IT to determine location of network port.

    1. A quote and budget number may be required if new port install.

  3. Network cable and port will be installed or connected.

    1. Time dependant on 3rd party installer. New network connections may affect Timelines above.

  4. IT will complete any configurations and enable network access.
