The IT Service Desk provides end‑to‑end management for all university‑owned computing assets. We ensure that every device is campus‑ready—secure, compatible with our network, and covered by enterprise‑grade warranties.

This service covers consultation, procurement, preparation, and deployment of standardized hardware for academic and administrative use.

Who can use this service?

  • Faculty and administrative staff.

  • University departments and units requesting university‑owned end‑user devices (desktops, laptops, tablets) and peripherals

Who can not use this service?

  • Students or Contractors

  • Purchaser of non-standard devices (unless explicitly authorized).

  • Purchasing for personal use.

How do I use this service?

Timelines

Initial Response

1 Business day

Time to resolution

  • Standard Models: 5 to 10 business days after financial approvals.

  • Custom build: 15 to 20 business days after order is placed.

🔄 What to expect (process)

  1. Request submission
    You submit a hardware request with details (device type, requirements, etc.)

  2. Review and approvals
    IT reviews requirements and coordinates any necessary approvals

  3. Procurement
    The device is ordered through approved vendors

  4. Setup and configuration
    Device is prepared with standard software, security, and asset tagging

  5. Pickup
    IT coordinatespickup with the requester

  6. Confirmation and closure
    Once the device is delivered and ready, the request is closed
